LORD® SignLok 406 Structural Adhesive — 210mL Cartridge is a two-component structural adhesive designed for bonding metals and engineered plastics in fabrication and assembly applications. This high-strength adhesive system is commonly used in signage production and industrial manufacturing where durable bonding is required as an alternative to welding, brazing, or mechanical fasteners.
Signlok 406 is formulated to provide exceptional impact and peel strength while curing at room temperature. The adhesive bonds a wide range of prepared or minimally prepared metals as well as engineered thermoplastics including XENOY®, polycarbonate, ABS, and acrylic materials. Its non-sag formulation allows the adhesive to remain in place on vertical or overhead surfaces, supporting greater flexibility during assembly processes. Integrated glass beads help maintain precise bondline thickness for consistent bonding performance.
The adhesive also offers strong environmental resistance, performing across temperatures ranging from -40°F to 300°F (-40°C to 149°C) while resisting exposure to oils, greases, solvents, dilute acids, alkalis, moisture, salt spray, and weathering. It is UL 746C certified and suitable for demanding fabrication environments.
