General Formulations® GFC287 RoughMark™ Clear High-Tack Removable Vinyl

General Formulations® GFC287 RoughMark™ Clear High-Tack Removable Vinyl is a 3.0 mil matte clear polymeric vinyl film engineered for graphic applications on moderately textured surfaces such as brick, block, and concrete. The matte clear finish allows graphics to blend naturally with the surface, creating a subtle painted-on appearance when installed.

The film is coated with a thick high-tack removable (HTR) solvent acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive designed to aggressively bond to challenging textured substrates while still allowing clean removability for up to six months without leaving adhesive residue. This makes GF 287 ideal for temporary graphics on masonry surfaces where strong adhesion and removability are required.

GF 287 conforms well to uneven surfaces when applied with controlled heat, allowing the film to settle into the texture of brick, cement, and cinder block walls. The material accepts solvent, eco-solvent, latex, and UV-curable inks commonly used in wide format digital printing systems. For applications on darker substrates, white ink may be required to achieve proper graphic opacity.

The vinyl is supplied on a 90# layflat liner, providing excellent dimensional stability during printing and installation. When a higher gloss finish or additional protection is desired, the printed graphics can be laminated with GF 242 Gloss Clear Cast Laminate.

GF 287 RoughMark™ also meets E84 Class A fire rating requirements and complies with REACH, RoHS, and California Proposition 65, making it suitable for use in a wide range of indoor and commercial environments.
