General Formulations® GFC208 7-mil White Static Cling is a 7.0 mil premium white flexible calendered vinyl film designed for temporary window graphics and short-term display applications. The white static cling surface provides a printable base for producing bold graphics that can be easily applied and removed without the use of adhesive.
GF 208 adheres to smooth surfaces using static charge rather than pressure-sensitive adhesive, allowing quick installation and clean removal without leaving residue. This makes it ideal for temporary promotional graphics and seasonal window displays.
The film is laminated to a 90# layflat liner, which provides excellent dimensional stability during printing, cutting, and installation. GF 208 is compatible with solvent-based inkjet, UV-curable, and latex inks commonly used in wide format digital printing systems.
This material is commonly applied to interior or exterior glass surfaces for short-term use. When installed on exterior windows, environmental factors such as temperature, wind, and rain may affect the duration of adhesion, though typical outdoor use is recommended for up to three months under normal conditions.
