General Formulations® GFC106 1-mil Optically Clear Polyester Mounting Film is a 1.0 mil double-coated pressure-sensitive mounting film designed for laminating and mounting thin printed graphics, films, and papers while maintaining exceptional optical clarity. The polyester construction provides excellent dimensional stability and durability, making it ideal for high-quality graphic mounting applications.
GF 106 features optically clear permanent acrylic adhesive on both sides of the polyester carrier, allowing graphics to be mounted without distortion, haze, or loss of image clarity. The adhesive system provides strong bonding performance while preserving the visual integrity of the graphic.
To maintain maximum transparency and adhesive clarity, GF 106 uses two 1.5 mil clear polyester liners, which protect the adhesive layers during handling and lamination while preventing contamination that could affect optical performance.
In addition to its mounting capabilities, the polyester film construction provides added resistance to UV light, abrasion, moisture, and environmental exposure, helping protect mounted graphics and extend their usable life.
GF 106 is designed for mounting thin flexible films and papers under 10 mils total thickness and is applied using a cold laminating process without the addition of heat, making it safe for delicate print media.
