Arlon® 3420 Premium Calendered Pressure-Sensitive Overlaminate is a durable protective film designed to extend the life and performance of printed graphics. This polymeric calendered overlaminate is commonly used for promotional, intermediate, and industrial signage where a balance of durability, cost, and performance is required.
This material features a 75 micron (approx. 3 mil) polymeric calendered vinyl construction with a clear permanent pressure-sensitive adhesive, providing reliable protection against wear, UV exposure, and environmental conditions. The polymeric facestock offers improved dimensional stability compared to monomeric films, while integrated UV inhibitors help extend the life of printed graphics. It is available in gloss, satin, and matte finishes, allowing flexibility in final appearance. The film is designed for cold lamination (no heat required) and performs best on flat to moderately curved surfaces. Gloss and matte versions are UL 410 approved for slip resistance, making them suitable for certain interior floor graphic applications.
Series 3420 is commonly used for signage, kiosks, POP displays, and general graphics where durability, finish options, and consistent performance are required.
