Arlon® 3170 Intermediate Cast Pressure-Sensitive Overlaminate is a lightweight protective film designed to enhance durability and conformability of digitally printed graphics. This cast overlaminate is commonly used for vehicle wraps, fleet graphics, and intermediate signage where flexibility and ease of installation are important.
This material features a 1.3 mil (35 micron) gloss cast vinyl construction with a clear permanent pressure-sensitive adhesive, providing excellent conformability over curves, rivets, and contours while maintaining long-term performance. The thinner facestock allows for enhanced flexibility and easier installation, especially on complex surfaces, while still delivering reliable protection for printed graphics. It offers an outdoor durability of up to 7 years (unprinted), with approved system durability of up to 5 years when paired with specific wrap films. This film is designed for cold lamination (no heat required) and is not intended for optically clear window applications.
Series 3170 is commonly used for vehicle wraps, fleet graphics, intermediate signage, kiosks, and POP displays where conformability, durability, and ease of application are required.
