CPI® EZ12 12KV/42mA/120V Neon Transformer is a high-voltage power supply designed to operate neon tubing in illuminated signage and display applications. Built for professional sign installations, this transformer delivers consistent performance for neon lighting systems used in commercial and architectural environments.
The unit provides a 12,000V output at 42mA and operates on a 120VAC input. It complies with UL 2161 secondary ground fault protection requirements and includes integrated overload protection with automatic shutdown to help ensure safe operation. A self-adjusting load sensor automatically regulates output from 2,000V to 12,000V depending on the connected neon load, supporting stable system performance.
The transformer features an aluminum heat sink to assist with heat dissipation and extend operating life. Its design allows direct mounting to metal surfaces and prevents mercury migration in neon systems. The unit also meets all applicable FCC regulations while maintaining reduced energy consumption.
