General Formulations® GFC209AE MetroMark® 3.5-mil Matte White Opaque Transit Vinyl is a 3.5 mil matte white polymeric flexible vinyl film engineered for transportation advertising, temporary signage, and large format graphic applications. The matte white surface provides an excellent printable base for producing bold, high-visibility graphics.
GF 209AE is coated with a removable acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive that allows for reliable adhesion while still permitting clean removal for temporary installations. The adhesive system also allows installation on glass and OEM painted metal surfaces at temperatures as low as 20°F, making it suitable for a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.
The film is supplied on a 90# air-egress (AE) layflat liner, allowing trapped air to escape during installation for smoother, bubble-free applications. The liner also provides excellent dimensional stability during printing and handling.
GF 209AE accepts latex, solvent-based, and UV-curable inks commonly used in wide format digital printing systems and can also be sheeted for screen printing. The material conforms well to simple curves and offers strong opacity for multi-layered graphics.
