General Formulations® GFC118 1-mil Clear Polyester Removable Mounting Film (2-Sided Liner, Permanent/Removable) is a 1.0 mil clear polyester double-coated pressure-sensitive mounting film designed for laminating thin flexible graphics and mounting them to glass surfaces for temporary display applications.

GF 118 features a dual-adhesive construction, with a permanent adhesive on one side for bonding to the printed graphic and a removable adhesive on the opposite side for mounting the graphic to glass or other smooth surfaces. This design allows the graphic to remain securely mounted while still enabling clean removal when the display is no longer needed.

The film utilizes a two-liner construction to simplify installation and ensure clarity during mounting. One side features a 1.2 mil clear polyester liner printed with “Remove to Expose Adhesive”, identifying the removable adhesive and allowing graphics to be viewed clearly after lamination. The opposite side uses a 1.5 mil clear polyester liner, providing excellent clarity and improved wet-out for the permanent adhesive side.

GF 118 is engineered for cold lamination, allowing installers to laminate and mount graphics without the use of heat. The clear polyester construction offers excellent dimensional stability and optical clarity for window graphics and temporary displays.
