General Formulations® GFC101 3-mil Lustre Clear UV Laminate is a 3.0 mil lustre clear pressure-sensitive PVC laminate designed to protect printed graphics while providing a subtle semi-gloss finish. The lustre surface offers a balanced appearance between gloss and matte, enhancing color depth while reducing glare compared to high gloss laminates.
GF 101 is constructed from a 3.0 mil calendered PVC film coated with a permanent acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive that bonds securely to compatible print media. The adhesive ensures smooth wet-out across printed graphics while maintaining clarity and image integrity.
This laminate is supplied on a smooth 53# liner, providing consistent layflat performance and stability during the lamination process. Once applied, GF 101 protects graphics from abrasion, moisture, and environmental exposure, helping extend the lifespan of the printed image.
GF 101 is designed to be applied using a cold laminating process without the use of heat, making it suitable for protecting both digital and screen printed graphics. The lustre finish helps maintain strong color vibrancy while minimizing glare in many viewing environments.
