Arlon® DPF 6500 Premium Translucent Cast Print Film is a high-performance printable cast vinyl film designed specifically for illuminated and backlit signage applications. This film allows printed graphics to remain vibrant and evenly illuminated when installed on light boxes or internally lit displays.
This material features a 2 mil (50 micron) gloss white translucent cast vinyl construction combined with a permanent pressure-sensitive adhesive for reliable long-term adhesion. The premium cast face film is engineered to provide excellent light diffusion, superior print resolution, and high image clarity, making it ideal for applications where light transmission and graphic quality are critical. The film also utilizes a special lay-flat liner to improve printer handling and converting performance during production. DPF 6500 offers up to 7 years of outdoor durability (unprinted).
DPF 6500 is commonly used for backlit signage, illuminated displays, channel letter faces, and light box graphics where consistent light transmission and sharp image reproduction are required. For added durability and graphic protection, the film is often paired with compatible Arlon overlaminates such as Series 3200, 3210, 3220, or 3350.
