Arlon® ProTec 3960 12-mil Heavy-Duty Gloss Overlaminate is a premium protective film designed for extreme durability and surface protection in demanding environments. This heavy-duty overlaminate is commonly used for long-term signage, safety graphics, and high-abuse applications where impact resistance and anti-graffiti performance are critical.
This material features a 12 mil thick protective film construction with a clear permanent pressure-sensitive adhesive, providing a robust barrier against abrasion, chemicals, and graffiti. The heavy-gauge design delivers enhanced impact resistance and surface protection, while integrated UV inhibitors improve weathering and extend the life of printed graphics. It is engineered for long-term outdoor durability (up to 10 years vertical exposure) and is applied using cold lamination (no heat required). Due to its thickness and rigidity, it is best suited for flat or rigid substrates and is not recommended for flexible surfaces or complex contours.
Series 3960 is commonly used for safety signage, industrial labels, kiosks, fleet markings (flat surfaces), and long-term outdoor graphics where maximum durability and protection are required.
